DO:
- Find a quiet, private space where you’ll feel comfortable during the test
- Choose a hard surface like a desk or table on which to write your test
- Have a drink or a light snack available, if needed
- Remain in view of your webcam at all times
- Keep your eyes on the screen
- Use only permitted materials
- Leave pets in the room, if desired
- Wear a religious head covering, if you normally would
Briefly remove your mask or non-religious head covering (if you are wearing one) in order to be identified
DON’T:
- Look away from your screen
- Move out of camera view (leaving the test area is not permitted except for emergency purposes)
- Browse the internet (i.e., Google)
- Have other people in the room
- Bring unpermitted materials to the final test
- Take pictures or screenshots of the final test
- Copy and paste elements of the final test
- Use additional display monitors
- Use a virtual machine
- Wear sunglasses during the final test
- Wear headphones or smart watches
Please contact TVO ILC directly as soon as possible before your test if you require the following during your test:
- Talking out loud
- Music or background noise
- Headphones, earbuds or ear plugs
