ProctorU is an online test proctoring service that enables TVO ILC to deliver online final tests to students from the comfort of their own home and on their own time. Scheduling is done through their website and tests are done in the presence of a live observer (proctor).
Once a student has completed all assignments for their course and received their marks, they will receive a ProctorU account to schedule their final test.
On the scheduled test day, students log in to the ProctorU website and connect to a proctor who will then guide them through an identity check, a room check and a PC/Laptop check before starting the final test.
As students go through the final test, the proctor will be monitoring video and audio and may notify the student to refrain from certain actions to maintain the academic integrity of the test.
