We understand some students have concerns related to ProctorU’s final test procedures, and we’d like to affirm that these procedures are necessary to upholding a high standard of academic integrity. TVO ILC and ProctorU are committed to data integrity and transparency. In order to facilitate final test scheduling via the ProctorU platform, TVO ILC securely shares the following information with ProctorU: TVO ILC Portal username and password (to make sign-in easier) First and last name (to ensure we have the right person) Time zone (Eastern

Equipment Requirements• A PC or MAC desktop or laptop: with built-in or external webcam and microphone (Chromebooks are not supported at this time)• Highspeed internet connection: (12 Mbps download/3 Mbps upload speed is ideal), connected via wired ethernet cable, if possible• Guardian Secure Proctoring Browser: ProctorU has created a secure internet browser, much like Google

Final tests can be booked online at any time and sessions are available seven days a week, 24 hours a day. If you would like the option to contact TVO ILC in case any issues arise during the test, we recommend booking Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 7:00 pm EST. The earliest you can take your final test with ProctorU is three days from the date you schedule

You can only reschedule or cancel your final test with ProctorU more than 72 hours in advance of your final test date. In order to reschedule or cancel your test, log in to your account at go.proctoru.com and select either Cancel or “Reschedule” next to the relevant final test.   You cannot cancel or reschedule your final test in the ProctorU test portal if you are less than 72 hours away from your scheduled final test date.

Yes. ProctorU sends out the following reminders for final tests:    If your final test date is more than 10 days away, you will receive three reminders on Day 10, Day 6 and Day 3 prior to your final test date   If your final test date is more than 6 days away (but fewer than 10), you will receive two reminders

If you miss your scheduled final test, TVO ILC will automatically cancel your test session and you will need to reschedule for a new date and time. If possible, students should reschedule final tests at least 72 hours before their appointment to avoid further delays.   Please note that there are no email notifications or reminders to book a new test appointment if you miss your scheduled date and time. 

You must enter all your final test answers into the digital test, even if you used scrap paper to help work through the questions. If you finish the test before the timer hits zero, you can click “submit” in the digital test to finish your session (you may get a warning if any questions have
