What are the technical requirements I need to write a final test through ProctorU?

Equipment Requirements
• A PC or MAC desktop or laptop: with built-in or external webcam and microphone (Chromebooks are not supported at this time)

• Highspeed internet connection: (12 Mbps download/3 Mbps upload speed is ideal), connected via wired ethernet cable, if possible

• Guardian Secure Proctoring Browser: ProctorU has created a secure internet browser, much like Google Chrome or Apple Safari, that test takers must download and use to take an online final test. This replaces the requirement for users to download a browser plugin and makes it easier for students to install/uninstall ProctorU software once testing is complete. Testing your equipment:
ProctorU has a “Test your Equipment” tool that students can use to ensure there will be no technical difficulties on the day of your final test. For the most accurate results, use the Guardian Secure Browser to log in to the ProctorU website and then run the tool.
