How do I access my course(s)?
You access your course(s) by logging into your TVO ILC Portal. Under your Academic Snapshot, click on your course from the list shown. This will take you to your course homepage.
What is Brightspace?
Brightspace is the learning environment designated by the Ontario Ministry of Education This is where you access your course material, submit your assignments, and view teacher feedback and grades.
How quickly can I complete a TVO ILC course?
At TVO ILC, courses are based on 110 hours of instruction. You can complete a course in as little as four months, working at your own pace. Some students work faster, some take longer. Completion time really depends on how much time you are able to devote to your online learning.
How long do I have to complete a TVO ILC course?
You have 10 months to complete a course. That includes booking and writing your final test.
How many courses can I take at a time?
You can enroll in up to four courses at one time, to a maximum of eight courses. To discuss a customized workload, please visit the Contact Us page.
Can I enroll in TVO ILC courses?
Any student from around the world 14 years of age or older may enroll in our courses, with no visa required. If you are under 20 years of age and currently enrolled in an Ontario high school, you cannot enroll directly with us.
