How long does it take to process my request?
It can take 2 –3 days to process your request for educational documents, not including time in the mail. You can check on the status of your request under “Request Documents”.

How will my final course mark be calculated?
The final mark in your course is determined by graded units/assessments, which are worth 70% of your mark, and the final test and culminating activity (where applicable), which are worth 30% of your mark. Please consult the Grades tab in Brightspace for the final test weighting of your course.
How do I view my marks?
You can view all returned work, marks, and feedback under “Assignments” on the navigation bar. You can also view the mark and feedback under “Grades” in the navigation bar.
How will I know a teacher has marked my unit/ assignment?
As your work is marked, you will receive a notification in Brightspace. Please check Brightspace regularly.
How long does it take for a unit/assignment to be marked?
It takes 3-5 business days for a unit or assignment to be marked after it has been assigned to a teacher for marking. This does not include the day of submission, weekends, or holidays.
What are Assessments for feedback
Assessments for Feedback do not count toward your final mark . We encourage you to complete these assessments as they will provide you with valuable comments from your teacher about the strengths of your work and areas for improvement.
Where can I see all the assignments I need to submit for my course?
After you log in to your TVO ILC portal, go to your Academic Snapshot. Click on your course from the list. This will take you to your course homepage. Click on “Grades” in the navigation bar. All assessments for feedback and grading will be listed there.
