The announcer continues WHILE THIS DEMONSTRATION WILL FOCUS ON ACCESSING YOUR FINAL TEST, YOU CAN ALSO FOLLOW SIMILAR STEPS TO ACCESS PRACTICE TESTS AS WELL. ON THE DAY OF YOUR FINAL TEST, YOUR ONLINE PROCTOR WILL ASK YOU TO LOGIN TO YOUR BRIGHTSPACE ACCOUNT. ENTER YOUR TVO ILC STUDENT USERNAME AND PASSWORD, AND LOG IN.
On screen, the pointer clicks on “Log in.” A new page is displayed.
The announcer continues THEN, SELECT THE COURSE FOR WHICH YOU’RE WRITING THE FINAL TEST. IN THIS EXAMPLE, WE’RE WRITING A FINAL TEST FOR ADVANCED FUNCTIONS.
The pointer clicks on one of several courses, titled “Advanced functions.” Then, a new page loads.
The announcer continues ONCE YOU’RE IN THE COURSE HOME, OPEN THE “WELCOME TO YOUR FINAL TEST” FOLDER.
The pointer clicks on a button on the bottom left corner of the page which reads “Welcome to your final test.”
The announcer continues THIS FOLDER INCLUDES TIPS ON HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR FINAL TEST. IF YOU DON’T SEE THIS FOLDER, IT WILL BE UNLOCKED ONCE YOU HAVE SUBMITTED ALL OF YOUR GRADED ASSIGNMENTS FOR THE COURSE.
As the pointer performs the mentioned tasks, the announcer says NEXT, GO TO THE FINAL TEST FOLDER, SELECT “ACADEMIC INTEGRITY ACKNOWLEDGEMENT,” AND CLICK “OPEN CHECKLIST.”
As the pointer clicks on “Open checklist” a page loads under the title “Academic Integrity Acknowledgement – Final Test.”
The announcer continues YOU WILL THEN LAND ON A PAGE WHERE YOU WILL BE ASKED TO AGREE TO THE TVO ILC ACADEMIC INTEGRITY POLICY. CLICK ON THE LINK UNDER THE DESCRIPTION TO READ THROUGH IT.
The pointer clicks on hyperlink text that reads “TVO ILC academic integrity policy” and a new tab titled “ILC Code of Conduct” loads. The pointer scrolls down the page, then returns to the previous tab.
The announcer continues AND WHEN YOU’RE DONE, CLICK ON THE CHECKBOX TO AGREE TO THESE TERMS. THEN, CLICK “SAVE.”

PLEASE KNOW IF YOU’VE BEEN APPROVED FOR AN EXTRA TIME ACCOMMODATION, YOU WILL SEE AN ADDITIONAL FINAL TEST THAT MAY BE SELECTED. FOR NOW, LET’S CHOOSE THE STANDARD FINAL TEST. CLICK “GO TO QUIZ.”
